About UGC

originally, the UGC itself had conducted the UGC NET/JRF exam twice in all calender years for the Indians, for maintaining the minimum eligibility to work as Assistant Professors in Universities and Colleges in India. Net exams had been held by the UGC, it published the respected answer keys for all the subjects included in the list of Net exams as and when it conducted the UGC test. All the previous UGC NET exams question papers and solved answer keys have been included in this site. At present, the UGC NET/JRF exam has been conducted by the CBSE (central Board of Secondary Education) twice (on last Sunday of June or December) in all calender years to award the JRF and the minimum eligibility of Assistant Professors to the candidates belongs to Indian Citizens.
The CBSE UGC NET/JRF exam has included three papers such as Paper-I, Paper-II, Paper-III. All the three papers have included only objective type questions.
It is clear that, Paper-I may have only General basic concepts, intended to assess the teaching/research aptitude of the candidate. It has reasoning ability, comprehension, divergent thinking and general awareness of the candidate. There may have Sixty (60) multiple choice questions of two marks each, and the candidates have to answer any fifty (50) from the Sixty questions. If any of the candidates have attempted more than fifty questions, the first fifty questions attempted by the candidate will be evaluated.
Paper-II may contain only 50 objective type questions from the subject selected by the candidate, and all questions are compulsory. 2 marks for each question.
Paper-III may contain only 75 objective type compulsory questions from the subject selected by the candidate. 2 marks for each question.
Normally, the notification of CBSE regarding UGC NET Exam has been there in the official site of CBSE and contains all the information of UGC NET exam and the way at which the Final answer keys to be declared. The Final Answer Keys will be placed in its site only after challenging them with the candidates.
